Incoming 4th & 5th Grade Expectations
Dear Parents of Incoming 4th and 5th graders:
Below are the expectations for summer reading. Continuing to read and write will ensure that all of the hard work from the previous grade will not be lost, and that students will continue to gain or maintain their literacy skills.
Expectations:
If students choose to go above and beyond the expectations by filling out the whole Bingo card, they will be recognized with a special prize at the celebration.

Expectations:
- Students will keep a list of what they have read or listened to (this can be books, articles, instructions, on-line reading, etc.)
- Students will use the “Bingo Board” to record literacy activities. They are expected to complete at least one Bingo (across, down, diagonal).
